About Me

Hi readers. Are you wondering more about who your wonderful blogger is?

I’m a college student, finishing up my last year on a Humanities degree. Contrary to the jokes, I am gainfully employed (though my pay is low, my passion for my job is high). I’m in my twenties and I love to write.

If you have any questions you’d like to ask, feel free to drop them here. There are no wrong or bad questions, as far as I’m concerned. Likewise, if there are topics you’d like me to address or give my viewpoint on, feel free to suggest them. Anonymous commenting should be enabled.

  1. Hi there!
I really love your website, ace in lace, and was wondering if you’re looking for more content in the New Year? I work for Modernize.com and my team would love to write something for you and your readers. Over the past few months, we’ve written for The Huffington Post and About.com and I think we can provide some pretty awesome articles for your readers as well.
Here are a few samples of our writing style:
    Basics of Healthy Juicing

DIY Home Fitness Gym for Winter
    (http://savsesmoothies.com/how-to-create-a-d-i-y-gym-for-the-winter-months )

Keep in mind our content is FREE and WRITTEN SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR AUDIENCE. All that we ask is that we be given credit for our work with a link back to Modernize within the content or author bio.
If interested, we’d love to pitch you some topics to get the ball rolling. If you have any ideas you’d like us to tackle, we’d love to hear those as well! I’m happy to schedule a call to chat further if you prefer – looking forward to your response

  2. Hello. Have you considered enabling a Creative Commons license on your blog? This way, if someone wants to translate a post you made, he/she would be able to do it.

  3. Personally, I am thrilled this topic has a place to exist. I never thought of a community of people being out there who felt the same way I do about being touched, sex and general relationships with others. I am older (66) and have been married twice, once for 10 years the second time for 20 years. I divorced my second husband because I realized that I not only didn’t want sex, but didn’t want to keep pretending I did. That had been a pattern throughout my life. I have always lied about it, faked it, avoided it…and so on. You know the drill. I dislike being touched both by strangers and by people I know. I am not a ‘hugger.’ My family hugs me but knowing my feelings, tries their best not to overdo it. I got to a point where I got so damn tired of having doctors tell me I needed to take this or that or do this or that to make me more interested in sex. Finally, I just said, I don’t want sex. don’t need it and don’t miss it. there’s nothing ‘wrong’ with me that needs fixing. It’s like not liking oysters or sushi. It doesn’t mean you’re weird, it just means you would rather not. Nice to know I am not the only one out there. Gave up dating years ago because once we got to the physical part, I bolted.
